Full-time Deposit Operations Associate 2

First Columbia Bank & Trust Co., a strong, independent community bank with over 190 employees headquartered in Bloomsburg PA, seeks full-time Deposit Operations Associate in our Bloomsburg (Lightstreet), PA office.  Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum of 1 years’ experience in customer service and/or related banking background.   

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Responsible for assisting with the administration of the Bank’s Overdraft Protection Program (ODP).
-Will perform a variety of other duties to support the Deposit Operations function, such as:
-Process inquiries and maintenance accounts and files.
-Process information and files for all types of bank deposit accounts; verifies information and ensures accounts are properly established to provide accurate record keeping.
-Performs various duties relating to deposit account and related products.
-Inputs data on the system consistent with established procedures.
-Makes necessary corrections and re-enters data as required.
-Scan deposit account information; ensures that all accounts are properly maintained.
-Research and process inquiries from customers and bank personnel relating to deposit account information and related products.
-Assists in the proper maintenance of all deposit account processing equipment; reports malfunctions and problems to supervisor.
-Assists the Deposit Operations Supervisor, Manager, and other deposit operations positions, as needed.
-Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness, and the Bank’s compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.
-Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.

Requirements:  The selected candidate must possess a professional manner, moderate reading, writing and grammar skills; good communication and interpersonal relations skills; proficient computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel and systems relating to the data input function. Candidate must be self-motivated, able to multi-task and pay attention to details.

Full-time work hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm and Fridays 8:30 am – 6:00 pm, 37.5 hours per week.  Excellent benefits package including medical, dental & vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid holidays & vacation
