The IT Director is responsible for overall management of Windows Active directory in a WAN environment with 200+ users and 13 branches/locations.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Directly manages the assigned Information Technology Department ensuring efficiency & accuracy, overall technical vision, and systems support. Duties include but are not limited to:

a. Coordinates all "on call" functions for the department.

b. Proper orientation and training for all bank personnel.

c. Administers personnel policies and procedures as established by bank policy.

d. Ensure quality control, prioritize, and manage the overall day to day operations and workload   performed by technical support and network administration.

e. Manage contractors or consultants.

2. Responsible for all aspects of system security including online banking, branch and merchant capture.

3. Other technology oversight includes Cisco Meraki, VMware and Citrix/Terminal Services environment and VOIP phone system.

4. Other management duties include preparing annual budget, technical operations, vender selection, disaster
recovery/risk management, and provide strategic technology vision to ensure institution is maintaining or exceeding pace of similar institutions.

5. Cooperates with, participates in, and promotes the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety, soundness, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. This includes annual Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) training and complying with all BSA rules and regulations as they pertain to the job position within the Bank.

Requirements: The selected candidate must have the following skills:

  • A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent with specialized information technology education/training required or an AS or BS degree in Information Technology, or other related field preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) or more years of senior or executive level technology leadership.
  • Familiar with a large variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures. Possess reliability of extensive experience and judgement to plan, execute and accomplish goals.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal relations, analytical, organizational and planning skills; Demonstrated presentation skills; and proficient math skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows Active Directory in a WAN environment and Citrix terminal services.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment; Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm and understanding of client needs and concerns; Ability to explain technical issues in non-technical terms.
  • Ability to lift/carry in excess of fifty (50) pounds; Must have valid drivers license and transportation.
