New First Columbia Bank Customers Give Boost to Community
Danville, PA – First Columbia Bank today announced a $6,000 donation to the Danville Community following a recent new customer outreach. The Ronald McDonald House of Danville, the Montour Area Recreation Commission, and the Thomas Beaver Free Library each received $2,000 to support their respective community organizations.
The Danville branch of First Columbia Bank invited new customers with a special promotion that committed a bank donation to each of the three local organizations for every new customer account opened from June 8, 2017 through September 30, 2017. This initiative offered a way for First Columbia to express their gratitude to Danville by supporting some of the organizations that matter most to the community.
Branch Manager, Kara Aurand, offered her perspective on these organizat ions, sharing that "Each of these organizations nourishes this great community; whether it is through providing food and housing, offering opportunities for outdoor recreation, or encouraging literacy and education. All three represent and help to carry out the ideals of wellness and benevolence that are characteristic of the Danville community."
First Columbia proudly joined the Danville community in June of 2017 with the opening of their Walnut Street branch and is looking forward to supporting the schools and local organizations that uniquely impact this area.
